May 2013 Cyber Professionals

So glad you’re here!  Hope you enjoy our meeting and your visit!  I have included a little of history of the area plus a map of where restaurants are located—considering this is         suburbia!

The Hyatt Place has some nice amenities for you!  They’ll have a hot breakfast for you with coffee to go each morning.  They also have Starbuck’s products available. In the evenings, they do have light appetizers, wine, beer and some mix drinks.  There is plenty of room to relax with other CP’s in the lobby as well on the patio near the pool near the back of the    hotel.   The hotel will provide a shuttle van, which seats 12, for taking you to the meeting place, picking you up, taking you to some of the local attractions and/or restaurants etc.

Our meeting is at KCRAR—Kansas City Regional Assn. of Realtors - located at  11150 Overbrook Rd, Ste 100, Leawood KS  66211.  The meeting starts at 9 am.  The van will pick you up from the lobby with the 1st run leaving for the meeting place at 8:05 am. The second run will be leaving at 8:30 am.

Wednesday evening—There are some really terrific places close by.  Check the map for details.

Thursday evening—We’ll be having dinner at Hereford Steak House @ 6:15 pm.  You will need to leave the hotel at 6 pm.  The van will be available from the hotel lobby.

Friday evening—We’ll have Chinese at Fortune Wok with Sushi available.  Please let me know if you will be joining us on Friday evening. We will need to leave the hotel at 6:10 pm.

I will be making reservations for 6:30 pm. We’ll probably need some cars.....depending on how many join us! Please email me if you will be joining us for dinner!

If you need anything—please feel free to call me on my cell at 913-226-4600.  My husband, Jim, is willing to help us also.  He has taken time off to help us at CP!  Don’t feel like you’ll get stranded anywhere. Between the hotel van and my hubby, Jim, we will get you where you need to be!

For a Map of the local restaurants nearby - local flavor....

Here is a link to a map of the 3 terminals at Kansas City Airport!  The airport has 3 terminals.  Each terminal has it's ownbaggage claim.  So make sure when meeting someone at the airport - you specify which baggage claim.  The terminals are not connected and you can't walk between them!  Take the RED SHUTTLE BUSES to get to other terminals. Look at the map to know in advance which terminal you and your fellow CP member arrive in so that you know how to connect!!  I believe the car rentals are not on site. I've not needed to rent a car in my home town!  :-)
