We had no knowledge of, connections to, or family in this area as both my husband and I have always lived on the east or west coast. I must admit to my husband and I being rather high-maintenance in our expectations. Cindy was so different from the average realtor and she is absolutely AWESOME! We had sat down with her and spent almost 2 hours explaining her credentials, the homebuying process, all the fees associated, things we need to consider, helped us put together a wish and needs list (which are different) & gave us so much to think about! When we visited with Cindy, she was outgoing yet very professional, articulate yet realistic given the market conditions. She had all the information we needed to make the best decision possible. She had of course the comparable homes sales, yet market statistics, market trends and more. We knew that the house needed some touches needed prior to putting it on the market. We were thrilled and especially interested in her help to provide references & advice on what we should do and not do to enhance the "sell-ability" of the house and get the best return on our money for the work/repairs/updates to get the home sold! Her breadth of knowledge in so many areas was very much appreciated and helpful to get the right things done. Cindy also did a great job in helping us price the house to get it sold quickly! Cindy listened to our needs and desires for our new home. She showed us a handful of houses at different price points to help zero-in on our target style, location and price point. Once we decided on our price point, we ended up buying the first house she showed us. Of course, we couldn't believe the first house was "it" so, we made her show us another 30+ homes over several weeks. She not only showed us these homes week after week but, would stay up with us on the internet (via conf call) until midnight sometimes, looking through listings, checking public records, answering questions, etc.. She was always patient, diligent and a joy to work with. Cindy was very proactive and helped us stay on top of the process. As a result, the negotiations and closing went very smoothly.
