rubber duck - Duck Derby 2011The 2011 Duck Derby will be held Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Brush Creek on the Country Club Plaza. The derby benefits Children's Therapeutic Learning Center (Children's TLC). Children's TLC has been Kansas City's premier provider of early therapeutic and educational services for you children with disabilities.

If you haven't done so already, there's still time to purchase your duck! Ducks will be sold until all 15,000 are gone, or until 1:00 p.m. on race day at the Country Club Plaza.

On Saturday the 26th there will be a free event with several free activities. There's even The Kids Zone! Face painting, inflatables and more. The Kids Zone requires an activity wristband which sells for $10.00.


Just how much does a duck cost?

- Single duck: $5
- Family pack (5 adoptions + 1 rubber duck): $25
- Quacker’s Dozen (10 adoptions + 2 rubber ducks): $50
- Flock (20 adoptions + 4 rubber ducks): $100
