In light of all the tragedy of weather conditions, I've had many casual conversations over the last month with people who haven't even thought about an emergency preparedness plan.  Now with the tornado in Joplin MO so close to home. I think it brings it more in our consciousness.   I have put together a brief list of things to consider having on hand in your basement or close to where you would head in your home for an emergency weather conditions. So I hope you would consider taking heed for putting together a plan you and your family.  Of course - we hope it never happens or need such a plan! Are you prepared??
