On your mark, get ready, set, GO!

It's that time again. The 21st Annual Labor Day Run is fast approaching and will take place in Leawood, Kansas. The 5k run and walk is presented by the Leawood Parks and Recreation Department and Pepsi-Cola.

The race begins at 7:30 a.m.and will be followed by an awards ceremony at the Lion's Shelter. An all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast provided by the Leawood Lion's Club is also available for $5.00.

The race will start and end indide the Leawood Park. There will be a water station located at the one-mile mark giving all of the racers a chance to rehydrate.

Late Registration at City Hall, September 3 & 4 - $30
